Honestly I agree so much on this but we also have to take into consideration that the source of the problem is the moms mental state on love and getting approval and attention from people which most likely the disorder was developed from being a teen mom and getting outcasted from society cuz that’s a big thing that looked is down on in Asian culture so to be able to fix the kids problem he has to realize that the mom needs help

For everyone afraid that this will have a bad ending, or don't sense any feelings from Tamaki towards Shii...remember this manga only has one volume so far. There is a lot more room for the author to show progress. In the author's other manga series, romantic feelings did not develop until the second volume. The protagonist's past traumas were also not revealed and solved until the later part of the series.
Likewise, I'm sure the author will address Tamaki's trauma again, otherwise I don't see the purpose of them focusing so much screen time on it thus far. If anything, I think Shii's persistence/feelings will help Tamaki resolve his misunderstandings about love and relationships. Besides...why else would Tamaki give a one year allowance for Shii to win him over, if the author didn't plan for some results in the end?
Contrary to what people have been saying, I've got a good feeling about the ending.
