I have zero forgiveness for the sensei.
Yes, he has a horrible traumatic past and shit but that will never give you the right to destroy the spirits of, not just the people around you, but the people you are literally paid to keep healthy and happy.

A better ending would have been that Ryuuji moved on to a better partner more deserving of his loyalty and love after healing the gaping hole in his soul that forms when you chase after someone who revels in using you and other people.
I would have been very happy if the sensei moved on too. If he got himself a healthy relationship after realising what an evil bitch he was being.

I say all this with full knowledge that Yaoi has a tendency to be fucked up according to common convention. I don't make it a habit to get on my high horse, I assure you.
But there's the kind of rapey-ness and psychological manipulation you can shrug off as general Yaoi tomfoolery and then the kind that makes your skin crawl and this was like a colony of spiders under my skin.
