Hogu hayeon is too dark, so I don't want that but what's wrong with a slightly darker story line? And I'm sure they will be back with more fluff after that lol
I have a feeling it's not even going to be remotely close to Hogu - just your typical 'push/pull fuck-buddies turned to lovers' trope. They're not the main couple so there's less space to build something more complex. Folks overreacting now are going to look like clowns imho
Jokes aside, lets be honest then. This plot isnt even dark, its just not enjoyable ->IMO<-. To that doctor people are like games or play things "I dont touch what I already eaten once" can you defend this line or even say is enjoyable to read? Imagine someone saying that about your,ugh.
Ok lets assume we all know hes gonna be good to the MC yay!! woohoo!! it doesnt erase how trashy he has been all his life to other people, including to the MC so far. Too much disrespect comes from him, in every line, as if he is superior and smarter than everyone else. "If I play my cards right" -.-
That being said BANZAI to different tastes and opinions, Im glad you can enjoy a character like that, cause I cant. You have fun, while I wait till we go back to main plot.
TBH even Yule was more interesting than that doctor since I couldnt predict Yule's twisted mind at all, he was sick in the mind. That doctor is just another seme full of himself who enjoys playing with people who might start to treat people he sleeps with as people for the first time in his life once he falls in love. I kinda get why people are pissed but... with the vanilla romance shit on the main couple already done with, i think this new and slightly darker dynamic would be more interesting to see.
