There are a lot of abrupt changes and ends to storylines in this comic i dont think there is any more to it.

yeah, if he does return to the story-line in future i think it would be interesting if he resented Ria i.e because he sees her as a rival or blames her for being thrown out.

I remember the emperor having a son and him not being the actual son but was the last time it was actually mentioned was when he was with his counselor and said yeah I havent slept with anyone since my daughter was born
