So true. I ended up almost dying from the fact that my birth control started making me bleed out. Luckily I was already aware I would have to have a hysterectomy some day, and I already had a child by that time, so those made the decision to get one sooner all the easier for me. But so many woman lose fertility or suffer extreme health issues because our I’ll health caused by birth control “side effects” is not seen as important as men’s health or their “freedom.” It is downright mysogenistic (sp?), is what it is.

WHY DOES THE AUTHOR LIKE TO MAKE US CRY SO MUCH ;3;
Lately, I've had this thought running through my mind. When reading omegaverse I keep comparing their suppressants to our birth control pills, and this last update reminded me again of it. Thankfully, birth control pills are getting safer, but they didn't release the male medicines until they were a 100% free of secondary effects. And it's always us who have to take precautions and insist on them, because some men don't even care about putting on a condom.
I like the omegaverse genre, but it makes me very angry because many women around of the world live much of the struggle omegas have to go through. If we had heats, I'm sure we would be treated the same as them (as if we were not blamed for being raped already).
