I completely agree tbh. I don’t see MD as someone evil, and as someone who is part of the BDSM community I really have to disagree with most of the criticisms he’s getting. Also, he’s human, and he’s not perfect. Don’t villainize him for making a mistake. Is it justified? Perhaps not. But is he evil? Of course fucking not. It’s also pretty amusing to see people that fangirl over rape and toxicity in other BL stories suddenly be angry at MD for slapping Chanwoo.
This is not because you are not evil that you can't be a fucking jerk. Like someone who will cheat on his wife is not evil but he's a dumbass and a moron.
MD here was a dumbass. And it's not because nobody is perfect and people can change that we can't highlight the fact that his behavior sucked. In the two last chapter he was just manipulative af, using their BDSM play to show his frustration. That's a terrible, manipulative behavior.
It's amusing to see that many here are angry with MD's plan and slap but forget his good deeds and concern for Chanwoo.
More like they see MD now as a bad person from the start and never a good person.
No one is perfect (let me know if you know one lol). People commit mistakes/bad decisions but it's up to them whether they will:
A. Change and be a better version of themselves; or
B. Not change and be the worse version of themselves.
So, for Chanwoo and MD, which do you think is it? A or B?
For Alex and DG, it was A. Alex was a total jerk but he changed. DG changed too from being a victim to a stronger version of himself.
Isn't Chanwoo and MD have the same gist- realize your mistakes and be a better person? So why so much hate for MD?
