What you've seen, is an alternative story the author made. The reason is due to some fans (like yourself) wanted to know what would happen if J stayed with C.
In that alternative world, J did nothing of the things that happened in the actual story, no rape, no harassment, no isolation, gaslighting, threats, coercion and other shit he did.
In the main story, the actual one, the rational and logical and amazing one, Chiwo ended happily with Kyujin, and most of the fans (that wished for Chiwoo's happiness) are glad about that.
PS: And I don't root for the rapist, no matter his background, or other daddy issues, he doesn't deserve our mc, after what he did. Liking him is something, denying and/or forgiving him (something that only the victim and the others that empathise with him can do) is a whole another story. Glad he did not get to keep being toxic with Chiwoo, because Chiwoo deserves better than a rapist (having a hot body doesn't excuse him).

I am sorry if I came out as rude, is just weird that after reading yaoi for 14 years to see others support such characters, it's scary even. Those are some of the tropes that I do not condone.

I dont care fo those haters of Jihyun. Im still rooting for him even though it will not happen. Btw, for those like me who roots for jihyun, i think theres a side story wherein jihyun and chiwoo became lovers. Saw it in the raws, though im not sure if they really are together since i cant read korean.
