We don’t know how angels work in this world. That being said, “angel” here could just be a title they have and it might not necessarily mean whether they’re good or bad.
Exactly. The only thing that is clear is that their job is to take the soul of a dying/dead person. Being an angel doesn’t imply that they are only capable of doing “good” things. In this story, it seems like they more similar to a shinigami I guess
