um... if i remember correctly, basically when he gets really emotional at all his pheromones get... overproduced very easily? and so it sent him into a very strong heat. obviously.

then, the confusing part, was... i can be a little off but the friend that is an alpha went to his house and couldn't control himself. then, the boss stepped in. so yes, he was there, he didn't imagine it.

so, in order to combat his highly reactive state, his body needs time to... acclimate to the strong pheromones that the boss produces.
