if kouichi did came back to his world maybe we can apply the good ol plot in ending where caius:

a. This time Caius travel in kouichi's world to see him again ( smol caius might happen )
b. Kouichi will give up his world for caius and lived in another world.
c. Caius will give up his right to be a king and lived with kouichi's world.
d. There would be a path where they can see each other freely.
e. Worst scenario, Give up their love for each other and move on but never forgetti. ಥ_ಥ
