Think of this as animal planet; but in chibi and 2-d form; and snakes don't raise their kids, and in the wild, some of the male animals give no fucks about their children, It's usually the mother who look after the kids, and some male kills the kids of another male's child if they want to mate with a certain female, and that female already has kids, they kill their kids first and then mate with the female, kinda like to show dominance and jealousy, and for some females, they look after their kids, show them how to walk, swim, etc. and move in a herd, but if among them there were one or two kids who was slow and couldn't keep up with them, then the mother simply leaves them and went away with the majority, and also males fight all the time, it may be due to territory, or they fight for a female or it could also be that they simply want to fight each other, It's in their nature, they may look kinda pitiful here doing everything they can to please a female, but really, no one's forcing them, they do it on their own accord and they want to do it.,and some animals eat their own kids; so no need to compare them like humans who get education and have a job, etc etc.
