Well that, and I do believe Naska and Rebecca hold a platonic love for Sasha. I think Arth did too, until he began to think of marriage. So I don’t think it was necessarily a legal issue.
Maybe that’s true in Naska’s case but Rebecca truly wants to be with Sasha. If you see in the latter half of chapter 38 and in the aftermath of when Arth proposes she’s jealous of him, wishes she were a man, and wants to be the one to protect Sasha. She’s frustrated she has to give in to Arth and that causes her to double her sword training.
Exactly what I was thinking. Also imo, Rebecca has wayy more chemistry with Sasha than Arth.
Yes. I feel like if anything, Rebecca x Sasha would be a good pairing considering how Rebecca has such strong feelings towards Sasha compared to the others
But during that scene, she also adds the entire ‘for sasha’ and then she adds ‘for everyone’ . So either she is lesbian and unaware of it, or she has strong platonic feelings toward Sasha. I feel like the strong platonic feelings is much more likely. Andy I don’t think she’s frustrated that she has to give in to Arth, I think she’s frustrated that she can’t do anything, since she’s a woman.
Rebecca, Arth, and Naska have all fallen hard for Sasha. But it’s kind of sad how Rebecca and Naska end up giving way to Arth because one is a woman and the other is a dragon so they can’t legally be with Sasha.
