Just a quick summary:
- Cain gave Sid the compass to search for the doctor.
- Sid received order from satan to kill/let Cain die.
- Sid betrayed Cain by sending an assassin (maybe?) to kill the doctor because he didn't want Cain to be cured.
- The doctor's still alive because the assassin actually killed a copy of the doctor (not the real person).
Well, that's how I understand the story right now.
