It looks like the friend is up to no good. Like he marked the omega that was interested in him but it doesn't seem like he's interested in him himself. He may secretly be competing against Jaeho. I mean, that may also explain why he aimed for Ian despite never speaking to him before. If this omegaverse acts like the others, omegas can only mate once but alphas can mate multiple times
