I’m am curious if this reaction comes from language barriers (English may not be your first) or from a stunting of emotional growth? Sincerely curious. I’ll assume you read all 9 chapters, yet are unable to empathize at all with all the characters, and only regurgitate the same canned response as a hundred other kids. So are you really unable to understand the mindset of all the characters? Because while I generally dislike webtoons, the author actually did an amazing jobs emoting all the characters, even the minor ones
I think most of them have this idealized version of what they want rather than reading the story for what it is...
The alpha thinks like that because he was raised to think like that..we are supposed to watch him realize his mistake.. that's part of the plot.. but i dont know about the other readers here...
I do understand that the ML grew up in such an environment where there was already this prejudice to omegas. Doesn’t mean I particularly enjoy reading about it. Nor do I plan on empathizing with a ML that forcefully used his pheromones, in order to make the omega react and ‘ask’ for his help (except it isn’t really ‘help’ if he’s not in his right mind).
Didn’t realize that expressing an opinion would cause such a reaction from a fellow reader. I’m curious how much free time you had to write that response. You seem to really like this webtoon, and that’s fair; I like this webtoon as well. I just hope it won’t follow the common tropes of similar ABO webtoons, where there’s no character development in the mindset of the alpha, and the omega is essentially forced into a relationship with the alpha. I never said anything about the other characters, only the male lead. Please keep your assumptions to yourself (⌒▽⌒)
I assume if you put an opinion out there you aren’t adverse to discourse. You stated poor omega, asshole seme, and then dismiss it as trope. I observe interesting characters whose reactions aren’t rote, with well placed comedic elements. While a fantastical premise, much can be applied to individuals’ fear about biology vs free will. I just found your statement lazy and was hoping you’d expound on it
The seme is an asshole and there's no doubt abt it. Forget abt ABO thing, is it OK to be an assohole just because u r rich. And the character development isn't the real issue it is just that it is kinda confusing, like the one who said that he hates omega is his sister, she herself stay away from company cuz of her father who only cares abt alpha, she seek his love, and is it OK if he didn't hate omegas to start with and he treats omegas like a alpha producer toy,,,,, and he even worked in the faculty he saw with his own eyes how they were born and how they r happy with their fake family and love,,,, and not knowing abt the world and then when they grow,,,, Fuck ed by alpha and die after giving birth...... It is so painful to even imagine that. It gives me shivers. The early omegas gives them samples so that they can save their kind, not to this a cycle of pain which they don't even know abt...... Tsk
Man just wants to impregnate him and then mil him. I don’t want the poor omega to be treated like this. Really hoping for character development, even tho in yaoi stories in general there’s no development in the semes and they stay as assholes.
