I believe in forgiving cheating.
I don't forgive outright abuse.
He didn't just cheat and cheat and cheat (for years). He took for granted and he abused and he coontrolled and he raped. Ungrateful bastard.
That I do not forgive.
Here’s the thing...I personally do believe in 2nd chances but NEVER for cheating.
Jiang was not just a CHEATING BASTARD, he was also PHYSICALLY ABUSIVE too. I ain’t gonna feel bad for a man who cheats and be abusive because he CHOSE that path, HE CHOSE TO BE SUCH A PIECE OF SHIT, FOR YEARS.
I only feel bad for LEWIS, Lewis didn’t choose any of those pain, he didn’t choose to be sick, to be cheated on, to be physically abused. HE DID NOT DESERVED TO DIE CARRYING ALL THOSE PAIN CAUSED BY JIANG.
You can argue about wether he deserve a 2nd chance or forgiveness, but for me, knowing all the suffering Lewis have gone through while still alive really does not make me feel any sympathy for Jiang at all. HE DESERVE TO LIVE CARRYING THE WEIGHT OF HIS GUILT AND REGRET THAT HE HAVE CAUSED FOR THE REST OF HIS LIFE.
I ain’t finna waste my time reading that long ass letter. I still despise Jiang. Nobody can change that.
