Because Ellin got kidnapped by the shaman lady and she got some weird magic done to her. I'm guessing this is the beginning of how it's going to affect her and my theory is that her mom was like reincarnated (?) into that life as well and so they got to be together again but in a different time but since the shaman did some shit to her she realized that Ellin is not from their time and is now fucking with her.

why is the mom now different from before ????? like the mom before had freckles and her hair was kind of brownish greyish. i'm so confused..... they met before right ?? when she and the white haired guy went out and then they met with the mom, bruh what..... why is the mom different now ?? omg i'm fr so lost
