Here’s the thing, you want me to feel sympathy for the story’s “villain”? Okay I can do that, I love dynamic bad guys who you can feel for and even root for. The problem here is that that jerk had people legs broken and tried to have someone raped because he was butthurt his marriage didn’t work out. Im gonna have a real real hard time rooting for him. Idc what happened to him or how much he wanted love, HE HAD SOMEONES LEGS BROKEN AND TRIED TO HAVE SOMEONE RAPED! I just can’t see myself forgiving him for that even if he had a tragic backstory. Yeah I can feel sad he went through hardships but to see him have his happily ever after (with some forced therapy as a consequence), especially with a character that’s such a sweet guy and friend? It’s gonna be hard is all I’m saying.
