Yeah, if the author wanted they could easily make the elder brother a villain...but this thing about him being in the empire I guess the king doesn't give a shit about him since he's not his heir (because he lacks magical power like the girls)... And also, before sanghee the king didn't really show emotional attachment to any of his children apart from their importance in his kingdom, so he could barely care for his first son at all since he practically grew up on the empire and wasn't his heir and had no magic
Of course they wont let Jinsu Han off that easily. Hahaha.
I am having mixed feelings to that eldest brother. He stayed at the empire for too long and out of the picture... He seems really genuine at times but then there are times he looks suspicious. hahah And why are they not getting him out of the empire completely if they are already set on going to war with the empire?
