Yeah, no, youre describing slaves, kiddo

Do you not understand that slaves are still slaves in this world but they are better off then human objects. Slaves have rights therefore in this world you are not allowed to kill and experiment on them, you can only use them for work, but human objects aren’t even human to them so whatever you want to do to them is up to you. So no the author is downplaying slavery they are simply creating a new class in the system that are basically treated as non living objects.

I mean, I'd understand why, if the concept of slavery wasn't exactly that-

So I don't get it

I have a main theory: the author has no idea what a slave is
So maybe they think 'human objects' is some new concept for their fantasy world

When i try to understand why would anyone do that, thats what I came up with, but I take suggestions

I feel like they have a understanding of slaves and basically want to say that human objects would be even lower of a status. Like if we thought slavery was bad then being a human object is so much worse.

Slaves don't have rights, can be toyed with physically and psychologically, killed at any point by their masters, legally
That's a part of the reality of slavery
Outside of whatever the author wanted to accomplish by using the term without the definition, I want to make sure you do know that's the core of slavery

Okay, I’ll agree with you on that but this is a manga they can change things however they want really the author decided that slaves in their manga would have rights and that’s that

People shouldn’t believe everything that happens in manga and if they do that’s their fault not the authors cause this is obviously a fictional story so it’s clearly not meant to give new meaning to things
