I really did feel for Rashta and honestly, the plight of a slave is unimaginable/ cruel. However, her framing her maid and the duchess for entertainment is quite twisted. She revels in another's misery. It's another thing to plot against your enemies, but to plot against those innocent....sigh. While her concubine position is not permanent, she can still be dismissed with quite a few rewards for being a king's former interest. The king wouldn't be cruel to her.
Don't hate me but I kinda feel sorry for Rashta, if we were seeing this from her perspective we would be choosing her side. Of course, I love the Empress but, I kinda understand why Rashta is doing this, she's just trying to survive that's all.
