They give a reason in the novel, and sorry if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure we haven't gotten to that point yet in the comic yet.
That’s what I’ve been thinking. I can guess why it started but I don’t know why she or the mom care now. The dad already through he away cause he thinks she’s gay. The mom has her own business and the girl can make money. Hope they explain soon.
and I double checked it too, but they never really seemed to have explained WHY she was raised as a boy. I just assumed it was for inheritance reasons but if that's the case.....WHY IS SHE STILL DOING THIS?!?!??!?!?
