I understand that translating is hard work and takes lots of effort, but these translators clearly didn't put any effort into it. Instead of white knighting them, try to recognise that it's hard to enjoy a comic you found yourself loving to when it suddenly becomes illegible and confusing because someone wanted quantity and not quality. This also turns off new readers who would be interested in reading and supporting the original author/artist. The translators don't owe anything to us, but we don't owe them anything either. Those worthy of being praised get praised and those who are not are told that they need to and are given direction on how to change. You can't just pretend the work isn't bad and tell everyone else to not mind it just because you have bad tastes

    thank you! you put this sentiment so eloquently, its frustrating getting shut down for expressing an opinion.. its like ok i wont bite the hand that feeds me.. but plz its happening to so many great stories :/
