Well i was getting pissed off with all the comments saying shit about this manhwa. Like dig deeper people! Not everythings on surface level. jaehas a complex person and thats what i liked about this.
I agree with all this but it also doesn't change the fact that he hurt 3 people in his life by leading all of them on from his selfish behaviour and refused to acknowledge in the start. When his sex buddy was obviously mad at him that one time but he ignored it (even if he was drunk in sure it's not the first time yknow what I mean) when the seme was obviously sad and mad etc. The same character would have a completely different life if they made less selfish choices by just looking and noticing the patterns around them. Just saying.
With that said, he's a well written character and very "human" too. Anothe reason for leaving a sour taste in most people's mouths. Jaeha basically represents a part of humanity's uglier side.
Well yes he did hurt them. Im not saying that jaehas a good person. Im just saying i understand why hes like that psychologically. Hes a person who is afraid of getting hurt and rejection. A lot of people become like that after trauma. And im sure he noticed the hurt his avoidance and denial caused other people and thats why he holds a lot of guilt inside. Hes just a weak person whos scared of being honest with himself so he chose to ignore it. Its easy to say "he shouldve just been honest from the start that way he couldve avoided hurting people who love him" but thats the point of this manhwa. Its not always easy to be honest to yourself. And denying who you really are can hurt not only yourself but others as well. Thats why when he finally broke down and admit to himself who he really is, he was able to accept eunhos love, let go of the guilt and he was able to finally apologize and thank wife and fubu. This is basically jaehas journey to self realization. Lol and hes freaking slooow so readers really need a LOT of patience.
Exactly the point...most people can't comprehend the pain Jaeha has gone through and why he's the way he is...he ran away from everything to finally accept himself the way he is...he is such a troubled person who has always suffered... firstly bcoz of his family then bcoz of his damned first love who completely broke him...so when Eunho loved him so much...he got scared... he's such a relatable person...he knows he's at fault and he finally started to accept things for how they were...
Yeah I think it's how slow he is that irks me a little tbh but I got through it and I'm happy with the ending. This is actually the second time I'm reading it. I wish they expanded more on the other people's relationships as well since they were all involved in Jaeha's journey of growth. Overall, I liked all the characters. I also reaaally wanna know what is up with his supposed "closest friend" in university who ruined his life. Maybe give her a piece of my mind.
Yeah, the one who had it the hardest was fubu to be honest. Imagine liking someone who only goes to you for sex. I want a separate manhwa for him. I feel like closest friend likes jaeha and when she discovered hes gay she went crazy. Lol she shouldve just been bffs with jaeha. Gay bffs are the best!

Yea same man... it's actually so deep but folks can't understand the characters n they shame Jaeha so much...like chill man don't judge a book by its cover ... atleast bother completing it and then decide whether he's shit or not...i love this so much so i can relate why you're so defensive about it... btw thanks you for the comment

She could also just be jealous of him because if his skill and how he got an early entrance etc. And so when she saw his relationship she thought it was her chance to ruin him. Almost like a "haha you aren't that great after all and everyone should know hahah"
I dont get why people hate this so much. I think people underestimate the effect parents have on their children. Specially weak kids. Jaeha is self destructive and i get that hes like that cos of everything thats happened to him. He was always wallowing in self pity and being selfish is his defense mechanism. Hes closed off cos hes afraid that if people find out who he really is theyd hate him (just like his dad) Hes too damaged and its understandable cos 1. His father is an abusive drunk. 2. His mom left him with an abusive father 3. He got played by his 1st love 4.bc of 1st love he got mocked and alienated at school. Hes also like that to eunho cos he desperately doesnt want them to end up together cos he feels guilty to eunhos parents whos practically his parents. Who were the only good thing in his life when he was a kid. He doesnt want to lose the only family he feels he has in his life. He also doesnt want eunho to go thru shit in life bec hes gay(in jaehas pov cos of everything hes been thru). Also about the wife you know when youre too lonely you mistake friendship love to romantic love? Yeah thats what happened. He didnt use her. he genuinely felt like he loved her at that time cos in his pov "finally, a bright thing in my life". Im actually glad eunhos as pushy, steady and loyal as he is cos hes exactly what jaeha needed. Or i just really like this story i turned a blind eye to everything. Hahah but still its one of my faves and i dont get why people hate this. Lol
