Takane actually loved the omega and abandon the omega with the child because his wife was planning on killing the omega and he didn't want that so he protected him that way. He loved the omega and thought that one day that the omega would meet his fated mate, which was the child. Also he didn't do anything to him while he walked off with the omega, indeed he looked after him since he was worried.
