No, he know she is single and that her husband passed away.... well I think everyone knows her husband is Lost at sea but they don’t know his body is found and confirmed dead I think everyone is assuming he is dead(which he is). And the baron likes he and is trying to woo her but she is kinda oblivious to the courting and focused on her daughters. That’s why he is often jealous when he thinks she is trying to find or talk about other guys think she is trying to find a man for herself but in actuality she is searching for her daughters potential husband
