Good to know that this volume has a happy end at least. I have no doubt that the upcoming spicy scenes are great and full of passion, knowing this author. Hopefully my heart doesn’t break too much in the next volume when that biggest question is answered ╥﹏╥
Thank you, tbh I can't handle this if gene died shortly after they are together, especially because Oz's story ended up very happy... but the tragedy tag is there and won't go away

So the good news is that this is still volume 1 and it ended happily, Trevor and Gene we're able to confess their feelings and had a very emotional yet spicy night (like shit was so passionate and hot)
Plot spoilers:
>Gene is now studying at college yey!
>Trevor was actually adopted (it's obvious but still). Which explains why he looked different from his family, a couple found him abandoned on the streets. He was happy at first but one day the couple gave birth to their own child (Trevor's brother) Trevor was actually happy having a brother but it made him insecure because, he feels like he is not an actual part of their own family, no matter what he does which it explains why he hasn't been in touch with his family. But because that "emotional night " with Gene he was able to reflect that he was the one pushing his family away. That his family has always loved him so yeah he cried that night and Gene just embraced him silently
So I think Gene is the reason why the present time Trevor is now at least a bit closer with his family now
The last few pages of volume 1 was just Gene (Trevor's nephew) reading the journal but somehow it Changed his perspective about Trevor, he wasn't being a harsh to his uncle unlike in chapter 1... They talked a bit
and then the end
So the bad new is that the biggest question still remains WHERE IS GENE???!!!!
There will be a volume 2 coming soon BUT the author hasn't made any announcements of them starting on it or near finishing so it will probably be finished by next year soonest
