I’m at chapter 7 and I’ll likely be dropping this.
I hate the alpha and pretty much everyone except the mc and his mother so much, that I don’t even find this enjoyable anymore.
This is probably the most f*d up yaoi I read. For me not even killing stalking, MADK, that one with the orcs and the guy getting pregnant, Harada or Third perspective made me feel as f*d up as this.
Just the way the world (especially ml and his company) treat omegas disgusts me. Most omegaverse treat omegas terribly, but this one somehow bothers me the most. I’ve read a lot of f*d up yaoi, and usually heavy/disturbing stuff never bothered me this much.
The way ml and people talk about disposing him and him dying after giving ml an heir pisses me off so much. Most omegaverse treat omegas badly, like a tool for making children... but here they literally want to kill him because they think that little of him.
Not even “kill” him, just “dispose” of him like an objekt. Raising them like livestock as a company project... The fact that the omega institute was an actual thing with actual people working there and being totally fine with this, and they just got away with it irritates me.
And now with how they’re keeping the mc captive, running tests on him, drugging him and changing his body without his knowledge or consent like it’s totally fine just pisses me off. I hope he finds out and ditches them... Why is he even okay with being held captive and having his blood be taken and being injected with sh*t he doesn’t even know?

I’d be fine with all this, if all those involved in it would just die, or the public found out and they’d get mobed. But I have a feeling this is gonna go down the “romance” route, where they end up happily after omega got tricked and had his body injected with sh*t and changed against his will and went through whatever “hormone treatment” they made him go through without explanation or his consent, but it’s all ok because ml is handsome and s*x with him is just soooo good. And I bet all the shitty alphas, research person, and ml + his family will get away with it all.
(Maybe that’s what bothers me the most. The F*d up yaoi I mentioned acknowledge that they’re f*d up, it’s intentional and is purposely written that way. But with this, it just reads like a regular romance story, and feels like they’ll just brush over the f*d up sh*t as just another hurdle for their love to overcome, because ~love~ makes everything OK.)

If I’m wrong, please leave a spoiler if you feel like it, I’d really appreciate it :) (and would like to give this another try if things don’t go the way I predict them)
I just don’t want to get attached to the mc, and left disappointed after everyone gets away with the sh*t they did to him, and the story never acknowledges that they did anything wrong at all.
