I completely agree because everyone's hating on the twins and saying they should act their age but like??? I don't see them getting counseling or support for their trauma, and even ADULTS need that. Years of abuse make everything difficult. You can't just start opening up out of no where. And right when they did start trusting someone, they heard him say that the only reason he didn't kill them is to save his own ass
they didnt die when they were 25, they said that they WOULD be that age IF they didnt die in their first life so meaning they were just 19 or 18 when they died cause u can obvsly see they wore highschool uniforms, yeah theyre old enough to think but even teenagers even ADULTS gets abuse like that, the trauma of being abuse like that is not easy, their mental age may be of a teenager but their body is still a kid's body they cant do anything even if they want to
another thing i was pissed off by what niwe the sec prince's guardian said to jason the twin's guardian abt the twins being the worst masters ever, no theyre not the worst, how would they know that their guardian is dying bcus of their hatred towards the imperial family, plus even if they did know, do they just have to forgive and forget their trauma with just a snap of a finger just bcus someone asked them to? i mean yeah their guardian is freaking dying bcus of their hatred and they shouldnt be selfish but hm idk is it even selfsih to hate on a family that ignores them being abuse for five years? nevertheless they should hurry up and tell the twins that they have a guardian whos dying so that they realize that theres someone else they can rely on besides themselves
oh yeah and imagine if ur own dad said 'i wouldve killed them before they were even born if its werent for the contract that would threaten my life' would u be happy? delightful? they were just starting and slowly opening up but then they suddenly had to hear that from the emperor's own mouth, it doesnt matter what he said before that abt cherishing the twins and how they didnt hear it bcus the fact that he even thought of killing them before they were born is enough to make them building up their walls again, nevertheless i understand the emperor i mean hes a freaking emperor but he cant even do anything bcus rurahel's contract
i also understand how other people would be like 'thw twins should be more mature, theyre literally adults, blah3' lmao imagine dying then growing up as a kid again in a completely different and foreign place to them, abused for five straight years, not only by their mother but their maids too, no one by their side except themselves to rely on, suddenly being called by the emperor when their mother died IN FRONT OF THEM AND HER CORPSE STAYED THERE, being pushed into a completely unknown situation, their older brothers and father suddenly giving love all of a sudden after five years, would u just open ur heart to them after living with them for only idk months? weeks? bcus they treat u well? no nobody would be okay with it unless ure a gold digger and a completely selfish person, yeah they have reasons for it but the twins dont know anything abt the contract so how should they understand something they dont know?
