maybe john gone hysterical and caught by authorities and had to live there. Hes like INSANE.

Or

He involved in an incident then dead or coma or anything.

Or

his ptsd? Is that it? Has taken over him and hes delusional, thought that all things he had done was wrong, so everytime he meet someone from school all he said is sorry then switched to muting himself, emotionless and this cause other student sees him as the old cripple john because he does not fight back when they beat him up.
Yep there goes back the same old daily beating.

Or

Suicide.(cuz he's tired of everything)

Yes, they gone back to usual, the royalty system. Arlo the king, remi the queen and so on. The usual. And ofc, sera got her power back. Ok like this, everytime, they ignore john like hes non-existent. Even though he's been beaten up like right in front of them. At first, remi kind of thought this is wrong but then she remembers everything that john had done. Yep she choose being emotional over being rational.

Then when the news about john ^^(any of the ending above) they feel remorse about everything, like they're the cause of it, they thought from beginning to the end, on what has john done when he's the king, they realize about the ugly truth.

In the end, sera stopped coming to school, remi became quiet and distancing herself from others. Blyke became like john(angry issues, stubborn, hard headed but he did not beat up others). Isen.. Idk.
And ofc, arlo. He still the "king". He and blyke think that john deserve it but in the end those thoughts were clouded by what has happened to john and things that had happened in the past.

Hmm i cannot thinnk other ending for them other than regrets.

What about those mobs? They can drop dead.
