Iirc the prince and Cale met at the big meeting that took place at the palace (with all the nobles).
The part that is getting cut is the small gathering that took place a little before that with the North-Eastern nobles (including Cale) only.

Fyi for any novel readers, apparently the Northeastern Gathering (The meeting with Eric, Gil and Amiru from chapters 31-39) is gonna end up being cut from the manhwa :(
Was looking forward to seeing their interactions with Cale but let's respect the adaptation.
On the bright side, at least we get to see Alberu a little sooner :P
