I honestly have yet to meet a guy who doesn’t think sex is the answer to everything...or a guy who would send to me to a therapist instead of trying to fix the problem himself.
I think the manga's quite realistic bc even if an understanding person would be the best match for someone with trauma, it’s more likely to get someone like Shii who’s kinda ignorant and pushy but doesn’t really mean harm. He is doing his best in his way.
Shii probably doesn’t know how the trauma really works and what course of action is best, he only knows Tamaki has a problem with having sex/any kind of sexual interaction and he wants to help him by showing him it isn’t harmful.
(Like how if you’re scared of dogs most people will tell you to try pet their dog bc it’s a really patient and kind dog and what not - but if I’m scared of dogs I wouldn’t wanna pet in the first place no matter how good of a boy the dog is)
— sincerely, a person who is scared of dogs

I don't like the all I have a trauma and you gonna help me cure it. First of all, therapy exists for a reason. Second imma cure through sex is not the answer. Idk maybe cause the authors are Japanese and all the therapy thing is not actually a thing there. But dude this gets very repetitive
