He doesn't want to die because he wants to protect his family and he can't do that if...ya know.....he's dead? Even if you try your hardest you are bound to be scared of death. Lots of the characters are afraid of death, but they just get on with it. When he killed those two guys he was like “oh no, I killed someone waaaa waaaa”. What a pussy bitch.

I still think this is worth reading, he has a very slow character development(in terms of being "pussy") which is I like more, its more realistic. And him being afraid of death has a reason, first he came from non-martial arts family, 2nd on his past life, there is no martial arts, he's been living in peace for long time 3rd scared of death means he value life really well, not only for himself but also for his teammate. And on their last mission he also learned that not to think twice on attacking, (he admit that he is willing to retreat after learning that their mission is rank 2, but their assigned teacher give him some advice)

That's more like being smart and attentive. He's strong but he didn't share his secrets and strength merely to show off. When a human knows no fear that person will soon die, that is common sense come on -_-
Criminals, cops, murderers, soldiers is not strong becaude they didn't fear death and fight others. Each one of them is afraid of death except some psycho ones maybe, knowing limits and backing down are also a strength not a weakness. ┑(￣Д ￣)┍

Can someone let me know if the mentality of MC improves at any point? I’m on chapter 54 and the MC is such a wimp. He’s REALLY dislikable so far. He’s scared of dying all the time, scared of killing. It’s really kinda lame. Can someone let me know if it gets better (like he becomes more savage or something). If not I’m gonna drop it; not my cup of tea.
