I think the maod broke the basket to get out. Makes sense since it took the kidnapper to let them out of the basket in thr first place.

They cant sneak her in a basket of clothes or something? Does she really have to grow up from her family? That seems sad and unnecessary. I also can't help feeling that the maid was stupid. She couldn't ask for a raise or help? She couldn't save up? She though that they would let her live after that? Now, she cant help her brother of the little girl she was suppose to serve.
