I believe there’s two possibility:
the uke’s mind break because of all the crazy things the king is plotting and doing to literally “possess” him
Or the uke to actually fight body and soul to get free from the king’s grasp and maybe also make him pay!
Because at this point, after a whole family assassination there’s no repentance or romance possible in my opinion
