I agree with the scanlating team on this one: the world-building is all over the place. They're suddenly introducing a bunch of characters and then suddenly yeeting them out of the story just because.
Idk, Tara herself also feels inconsistent as a character. On one chapter, she breaks down at the slightest trigger of her trauma and trust issues -- and then on another chapter she's suddenly mentally strong and philosophically wise.... choose one or the other, please. I know she went through a lot, but that's quite the gap in her personality.

i'm just wondering where connie ties in with all of this --- surely there must be some reason why she, of all people, can see the ghost of scarlet and can let her take over. quite intriguing.
I'm not feeling any "hooks" that would convince me to continue reading this. I see a lot of potential but the story is getting too monotonous considering how many chapters it already has.

Yeah, I'm dropping it too. gave it a fair enough chance, by now it should have hooked me but I'm so bored. Can't get over everybody's facial expressions either, it's just so off putting lol

There were still things I hoped would be explained better, but overall the ending turned out nice. The purpose of the whole adventure was met, and that's what really matters I guess.
For someone who is rather haughty and can shamelessly compliment women without batting an eyelash, Alves sure is a coward as someone who has been harboring feelings towards Nanari for years.
Is he conscious of their status difference? Listen, Nanari is a straightforward woman, if she finds a guy she likes she would go for it.
