the bar fight scene disappointed me. it felt much more intense in the novel ;-;

He did not actually forgive them but he spared them rather because they are important personnel in the Empire. After all, elise said so, and he remembers his mother at that time. Remember that he is the crown prince and if elise did not say that, things can be more complicated that will affect his mental health which elise tries to stop.

i doubt that'll happen. all of his training sessions take months to years so at most he'll be advancing their strength, accuracy, and agility. he'll probably be showing them only the basics which require a lot of diligence/determination to finish so if they can master what he shows them i feel like they've earned it. that's my take on it.
