love to see that tho we get a pretty bad first impression of kang he turns out to be a legitimately competent director who stays on top of his employees behaviour and knows what's going on in his company, and is genuinely compassionate to the people around him. he ain't just handsome he's the full package my man

man not to be #real but taking advantage of someone's trauma and laid-back personality to goad them into sex? not cool dude. aoki is fucking adorable tho so he pulled me through, but the last few chapters didn't really make up for the extremely rocky start for me...

WatsonsPotato October 7, 2019 11:32 pm

wish i lived in a universe where fucking up a major career chance could land me a man like that

WatsonsPotato October 7, 2019 11:25 pm

new character freaks me tf out, getting those real toxic vibes,,,

WatsonsPotato October 7, 2019 6:19 pm

bruh he's got such mf big dick energy but he ain't fooling no-one... we all veterans here we kno he's all gooey on the inside huh

WatsonsPotato July 1, 2019 3:24 pm

well, i gave it a try, but these characters are flat as cardboard and share about three braincells. the main character is incredibly annoying too. i guess they went for a strong female character, but they ended up with someone who doesn't listen to anyone even when they give reasonable advice and does whatever she wants without thinking it through. aside from that her entire development is centered on the fact that she's practically god and can give herself whatever skills she wants which is,,, boring. anyway the prince is cute and very relatable but that's about it

WatsonsPotato May 7, 2019 8:32 pm

man ive never been a big fan of the "magic happened and now i have Huge Skills" trope, it's just kinda cheap. think it's a lot more admirable and says a lot more about a character if they've learned a skill through years of trial and error

WatsonsPotato May 4, 2019 11:10 am

im sorry did they just wheel off the little kid to a hospital and stick an iv in his arm,,,, for a fever?? wild. id say he's got some heavier thing going on that would make any change in condition worrisome but then the director also told her to go to a hospital even tho she only like. felt dizzy for a second. try n sweat it out first lmao

    Artemis May 4, 2019 12:17 pm

LMAO or they were just probably being over dramatic on that scene

    Sophiexox May 4, 2019 6:25 pm

Maybe he has a weak body in general? And maybe his fever was so high that it needed extra medicine attention? Ever thought about other circumstances he may have other than ‘it’s just a fever’?

i mean i did say that he might have some heavier thing going on that would make even a fever dangerous for him but go off i guess

well let's hope he doesn't die because it seems like he might be the reason for everything if u guys know wat i'm talking about, oof i'm too lazy to elaborate on this but someone might know wat i'm talking about.

People in eastern countries tend to go to the hospital more often to make sure they are in good health. That child seems to be weak it terms of health so they are taking extra precautions

    flynnkitty May 6, 2019 12:41 pm

Fever could actually be very dangerous on children. Temperature is a sensitive thing, too high and the child could end up with seizure, too low and it vould meds with their heart wave. He could also have another symptoms that accompanies fever like diarrhea, and sweat a lot due to fever. The IV would make sense as it could replace water lost from his body. There are also antipyretics that could be given from IV has the child refuse or unable to eat. Could be due to losing consiousness or energy
This is only the theory though, lmao.

Also no, not every eastern person actively visits the hospital. Depends on which east you were talking about ig, lmao. My country is the type that wont go to see a doctor unless they feel bad enough. So, to us, this kind of treatment could also be seen as overkill, lmao.

    Artemis May 7, 2019 7:02 am

lmao thank you all for the explanations but what i meant to say was...
the boy might be the reason that they end up together and he might be the reason they drift apart, because it seems that the ml puts this boy before everything else and there is clearly a story behind that. also let's hope that some chick doesn't show up later on and says she's the mother or something. Well i clearly forgot that main part...
ok so what i meant to say let's hope that the kid does not become the Huge problem in their relationship, or let's hope he doesn't develop a sickness and stuff.
FLIP OMG I SERIOUSLY HATE EXPLAINING THINGS BECAUSE I AIN'T DARN A BIT GOOD AT THIS.

i guess to me it just seemed really strange? whenever i or kids around me were sick when i was younger they just stayed at home for a few days, maybe that's why fevers don't seem really dangerous to me. if it were really bad they'd go see the local doctor first. i think dutch people don't really go to hospitals or even doctors much unless they feel it's really bad

its the same where i live, my mom is strict so normally i’d go to school even if i were sick but i just put two and two together because small kids are fragile and when my older brother got sick he once had an iv stuck in him because he had some bad stomach ache and couldn’t move so idk

    mari-san May 10, 2019 2:16 pm

I think that having a fever in a very weak body can lead to many things. From personal experience it sometime made me faint from fever and my dehydration got very bad.So each time I had fever the iv was it...so yeah as the others have said probably did that cause of his medical history...

IVs are a thing now to replenish nutrients etc. Some do it even for simple colds. Expensive but IVs replenish lost nutrients immediately and boost immunity, abating the illness faster. I guess it's only a thing in Asia? Probably not. Nonetheless, it's an expensive treatment for a simple illness so only the rich do this.

    Alexandra May 30, 2019 10:06 am

Idk about other Asian countries, but in China this is a normal thing. If you have a fever you go to the hospital for an IV and get better in a day. This is for reasons as such not to miss work or school for a long period of time.

Because we have health insurance lol. Also government hospitals and clinics in my country is mostly free or really really cheap. So there's no harm in going.
