I mean a person can grow up in a dysfunctional home and still choose to be different from the examples they were given, so this is no excuse for me. You donβt have to carry forward what hurt you.
Oh god, this was NEVER an excuse. This is an explanation as to why he acts like that. + I also want to point out it's hard to be "different" when the dysfunctional home becomes a normal for you. Even then people like him need help, which he never got ( you can say that coach was there but he was still bullied by his peers cementing his thought of "winners gets respect").
Ok now yall GOTTA TALK
idek what they'd talk about. Neither of them seem genuinely romantically interested at this point. Kim Dan still seems somewhat infatuated, but he's got too much emotional trauma rn. JJK seems emotionally and physically dependent, like his initial physical reliance on Dan is turning emotional. Overall, its giving 'co-dependency', rather than 'wow, i love how you are as a person'
Well, almost the same plot as bj alex, just haven't reached the part where he admits he fucked up ig?
literally what i was thinking this is taking the exact same plot points from bj alex like "oh here's this shithead guy who treats the mc bad majority of the story, oh okay mc leaves shithead guy (as mc should), oh shi now shithead is "realizing" his mistakes and running back to mc"
i swear there's nothing inherently unique about this story

I need to read this whole manga again in order to read the new volume honestly
I just finished reading it again & it was worth it!
