I think he wasn't captured again. Here's why :

The case was highly publicized therefore it's impossible, even if you have 7 really good lawyers you wouldn't to be set free in such a short amount if time because the public opinion matters in this type of cases and we know for a fact that it's nit a good one.

According to the law in South Korea for this kind of crimes, the accused must remain in jail or can pay to get out but they must remain at home with an electronic bracelet and frequent visits by the police until the end of the trial.
There is not a single chance of him being employed during this period of time. You may think he changed his identity since he's rich but his face is everywhere in the media and he can't change that.
We hear at the end that he succeeded in imprisoning him again, but by that, the author wasn't talking about a physical imprisonment, but about a mental one. More commonly known as PTSD.

He did have ptsd which was why he kinda sensed something was off when walking into the confidence store, plus this story itself, is not practical and the ending—just like many psych/horror genres, don't end with a sweet feeling and is supposed to be left bitter. I'm pretty sure the author themselves also confirmed on twitter!

For him he probably escaped or got out of jail, pretended to be someone, got the job and his plan was to kidnap him all over again hope that make more sense(￣∇￣")

He's not free, in fact, it's not even him. The main character just sees him everywhere just like for the guy who sluttered. He suffers from PTSD

He is free though, cause the story like the author has stated i believe, on their twitter, has wrapped up and is supposed to leave a bitter ending, therefore he got kidnaped again. Not realistic but sadly that's how the story wrapped up.
