We get to see a tea fanatic accomplish her dream related to tea and enjoy teaching others about the wonders of tea. Pretty much goes well with the title, if you were looking for something more exciting, maybe not read about tea?
I'm so glad she was able to save them. The swan from the original novel was terrible but I'm choosing to believe that the memories that he gathered made him help shushu. It's so sad to see how he would've been without her there, as well as all the others. Her compassion and wisdom of her own terrible experience helped all of the main characters see a new perspective to their world. Helias life also seemed so dull and helish, completely different to how the "novel" depicted her character

I don’t think it’s right to imply something is wrong with someone because they are turn off by someone hitting their partner in the face. Some things are just not for some people. You can enjoy certain elements and not like others. BDSM is a spectrum and you don’t have to be cool with everything.

I agree with you in some parts but I don't think healing and learning to like it is part of the equation. I read plenty of hardcore things but there are a few scenes that are not tailored for my liking. Not saying that stories like this shouldn't be done or that I will stop reading it because this is the only thing that I don't like and is not a deal breaker for me
