He's a war veteran with PTSD so severe that he sleepwalks while screaming to people he lost and self harming. He treats her like shit at first because her dad is a stuckup noble later revealed to not give a shit about his daughter that was looking down on him despite all the effort he put into all he's got. He was thrown into the battlefield and had to earn his title, rewards and wealth and her father is trying to take over the mine he won as a reward via sabotage. He thinks she's already in love with the crown prince when he married her and he hates her because he assumes she's like her father and most likely even being used by her father to steal his mine
You're told only about how forceful he was during sex at first, but she eventually reveals that when she got sick and was dying he stayed by her side and she can't hate him knowing that he did that. She also discovers that her husband has PTSD, something she didn't know in her first life that explains why he was so... How he was. He was always sleep deprived and emotionally ravaged and he never let anyone know because he didn't want anyone to know his weakness

GUYS I feel anxious cuz I heard he’s gonna forget time when he’s nice to lily once he gain his memory and will act the same to lily before! TvT then what’s the point for losing memory?! And ofc our girl lily couldn’t endure sufferings from his aunt longer (trust me she’s gonna torture lily more from now on) and decided to run away which he ended up searching for her!
