...but thecnically if that maid had just told the guy where Bella was the majority of the shit she went through wouldn't have happened. She would have been found and the guy would have had apologized for selling her. More then likely would have given her the chance to leave him. But that's not the case. The stupid maid allowed Bella to live in hell. Should be more pissed at her.

Firstly you're allowed to have a different opinion so no one should hate you for it. Secondly, I see from you're point of view that even though he was wrong for selling Bella he would have a better chance at preventing her from experiencing the terrible things she did if not for the maid lying about Bella's whereabouts. I can partially agree with you about that part and I can as see as to why Bella still loves him. Even though those things happened to her, Bella still had memories of the two from the past and that's whats keeping Bella's feeling for him alive. I understand how she hates him for the things he done but also loved him to memories he had. Love is not something that everyone should expect her to easily toss away. If she did then she never truly loved him.
Hi, so about the last part, I would like to disagree. I do think that Bella never expected the male lead to do what he did when he sold her. On that basis alone it would make sense for bella to revaluate how much she knew about him/ who he really is so I would argue that her not loving him for what he did would be a thing that would make sense because you love peple for who they are. Those memories of that person from the past would be memories of the past, that nice person who hasn't sold her off to be a slave is a entirely diffrent person from the person he became in the future that did. Of course there will be flaws and other such things that you will find out about your SO that you got to accept but I would consider what he did to be far beyond that, if someone I loved sold me away to be a slave just so that they could get a castle I would pretty much consider that to be the ultimate red flag. Even if I was still in love with them I would do everything in my power not to be because I'm at least a semi-mentally stable human being with the goal to live a good free life.
So I wouldn't describe it as "easily toss away," easily tossing away love in a way that shows that you never turly loved someone would be breaking up with them over something stupid like them liking pinaple on pizza or them getting a bad hair cut.
But that's the thing, everyone is different. Everyone experiences and handle love differently. In this case, Bella is struggling to do exactly that because her strong feelings she had for him. You can't expect her to just drop all those things so quickly, she knows she shouldn't have feelings for him but emotions are not easy to control. Especially when it comes to love. But I do understand what you're saying and that did open my eyes to a different point of view. Thank you for that!
People are indeed different, under different circumstances I would understand it but this just is too extreme. She had a lot of time as a slave, I do honestly think that the author just isn't the best. Like if she didn't know that he sold her off and she just met him again and somehow found out, the conflict of her loving and hating him would make sense. The idea of this story is very interesting but I'm not really a fan of how it's been executed.
