Between all the villain/villainess. stories I've ever read gotta say Andrim is probably the most evil mfer out there. Not even Tia from the Villainess Lives Twice matches up to him.

Doesn't have anything to do with japan, yes they could have changed the age but in historical times, that age gap was common and many girls were married off at a young age even to middle aged men. Seeing how they have a lot of real historcal facts in the manga, I guess they wanted to keep it "realictic" on how it actually was at that time so hence the age gap
yeah but still its fiction pretty deliberate choice to include that huge age gap along with mary and mcs father... love the art and the plot is decent but omg the romanticization between the queen and king when she was literally a child is like unreal.
I 100 % get what u mean, it leaves a very uncomfortable feeling seeing it like that but seeing it has borderline "healthy" how they tried to make it helps a bit when u gaslight urself into thinking that she was married off and they developed a "friendship" first and mybe hope that they didn't do anything until she was an adult XD
She knew she had to get married so like why did she think that she would choose someone other than the duke. She likes him enough to go around kissing him and even got a promise of no marriage out of him earlier. Now suddenly though she has to marry somebody but he isn't her first option. Like what??? The way she dealt with the whole prince situation and him being creepy af but still not doing anything to prevent interactions was annoying but this is just ....
She seems to have trust issues.. that's why she's having a second thought whether she should accept him or not. She just needs time to confirm it herself:) also you already know that she's reborn because of yol sacrifice for her and her past memories made her mentality unstable because of metal abuse she experience in those present future that happened to her before:) that's how she come to act this way I guess?
