As everyone else said super, super rushed. I felt like I was on a rollercoaster everything that happened in the like the first 6 chapters easily could've been 30. Like there's a reason you don't just speed through arcs like that, it makes the story messy. Which is exactly what this story is, MESSY! Also a story really shouldn't be leaving me with more questions than answers. For one why did she need to prove herself to the ministers it would've made more sense if they tried to put her on the throne first so they could make her a puppet and then have her kickass afterwards (would've made for a better storyline too )? Why is everyone saying "the princess has changed" just because she can use magic like her personality hasn't always been like that and what do they know about her anyway wasn't she literally locked in a palace? Why did we skip over the fact that she used to be a literal god? How did she get her magic back? Was it sealed? I'm left more confused coming out than when I went in.
My biggest complaint with this though is the catering to the asshole father! All that proving herself was basically for nothing, because a man who never gave a rats ass about her came back and took the spot she's been working towards! Maybe she didn't really care but why oh why is it seeming like she's trying to build a relationship with him! Yeah it's funny that she kinda treats him like a child but until you remember that barely anybody even remembered she existed because he locked her up, and worse he only treats her like shit because childbirth killed her mother! Which btw was stupid in WMMAP and it's still stupid here like you don't got good sorcerers to heal your wife, why'd you leave her weak enough to die. But that's besides the point it's trying to turn this into the ultimate father daughter duo op power fantasy and I'm just not feeling it! 3/10 kinda ass would be better if the father actually died.
