I love Byeol's and Hyesung's smiles so much!!!It's really rare to see a character's lower teeth and whole mouth when they smile. Normally it's either just their teeth or mouth showing. They are definitely brothers cause they look so much alike when they smile! They got it from their mother, I know it. And it's so cute how you can see the size difference of the main couple's lips because on their chibi forms, Woon's lips look more swollen and Byeol is well...basically just a line ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭.
It's so funny how it's such a small world. Everyone knows everyone and is connected to each other. I can't wait for the side stories!!! Especially Hyesung and Taeyang's story. But, aren't they dating already? They just have no label. Late night calls, cafe date, same class, watching a movie... Anyways, I can feel that they're gonna be a very happy family cause Byeol and Woon rely on them like big brothers, LITERALLY. So cute ┗( T﹏T )┛(づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ
I've been thinking about this kind of troupe, not that I'm overthinking it but I've always thought that some people with "ideal type" are not loyal for me. It's like they can easily replace someone because they find them similar, like they aren't gonna be loyal to only one person. I can feel Ian here, he thinks he's only a replacement for Brian because Sol can't see him for who he is. But I also kind of understand Sol, he just couldn't forget his loved one and expects his reincarnation to act like them so even just a tiny bit of difference can make Ian doubt. Sorry for all the people(mostly) who have ideal types I'm not trying to attack you.
And dayum, that's atleast 40 chapters of flashback. It's a whole separate story at this rate. You'd think that after going back to the main story it will end but hoho the main story probably hasn't even gotten to the climax yet. We wanna see our baby Iannn(〜 ̄△ ̄)〜
When I'm reading some Japanese BL manga, not just BL but probably other Japanese manga too, the trauma often depicted is rape, specifically pedophilic rape. I've mentioned this before, but a lot of Japanese BL manga include pedophilia. It feels like it's considered normal for Japanese authors, as if it isn't controversial at all. I'm not saying the trauma here is cliché—it's disgusting.
My first BL manga had pedophilia in it. The majority of the manga I read contain this theme, and I wonder if this is a common occurrence in Japan. How do they all depict the same trauma? How do they portray the same romances like that? I guess I'll never know.
Anyways, I loved the story so much! I guess you could say it's realistic? They're so cute my babies (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ. Condolences to the author tho, we will never see her other masterpieces.
From all the manga and just other knowledge I have, Japan definitely has a pedophilia problem. Shota and Loli are literally genres of manga which are basically glorafied cp. The fine line between discussing pedophilia with the seriousness it needs and the borderline romantasization or glorification of it gets blurred very quickly.
Thou this manga did a good job at representing it, alot of mangas also end up glorifing it.
So I 100% agree with ur observation.
And I can't spell
Japan absolutely has a pedophilia problem. Take the author of Ruruoni Kenshin as an example. He was arrested and fined for having child p*rnography in his home, and his manga is still being serialized. (A manga that has young female characters I might add.) My Japanese ex didn’t have as big of an issue with it as me, which was very concerning, and it definitely made it clear to me how little Japanese people (not all of course) care about this. So it’s no wonder that it’s so prevalent in manga and anime.

I fucking hate the dad so much it's not even funny anymore. Imagine living your whole life to pay for that bastard's sins and when you just gained a bit of freedom you have to do it again. He's not my baby's responsibility, he's like a child that needs his mess to be cleaned up. Just fucking kill him I want him to have a very very painful death you motherfucker.
