I don't really agree with your last point, though. Yuu has promised not to make a move on Shiina, whom he probably doesn't think is even interested in guys (he's with girls fairly often). What is he supposed to be saving it for? He's not really waiting for Shiima. Yuu flat out states that he wasn't *ever* planning on telling Shiima, not that he was waiting until Shiima turned 18 or something. So long as he's honest with the girls about not being in love with them or looking for a relationship, Yuu is free to do what he wants.

I'm more annoyed that Yuu interfered so much with Shiima, not that he slept around. Yuu's one-sided feelings don't give him any more hold on Shiima than Shiima's feelings give him on Yuu. I can see some vetting, but Yuu should have let Shiima have a girlfriend or work. It's part of growing up, and isolating him like that isn't good for him, no matter how over-protective both Yuu and the brother are.

also about the brother leaving yuu to watch over shiima even though he probably knew yuu liked him, i have read this book in which something a little similar happens and it is stated that who better to protect someone than a person who loves them, i agree with this and think this could possibly be the logic used here.

It could be. I don't really feel we know the brother well enough to say what his motives were. He's only mentioned in passing, when he's not cock-blocking.

I have a cousin nine years younger than me, and I know I still don't see her as an adult, even though she's got a kid. I certainly wouldn't try to set her up with someone my age. But I could see, especially if she was a younger teen, telling a close friend something along the lines of, "You're a player, so you recognise them. Keep them away from her." And not thinking anything of it. So I'm really just ascribing my thought process to the brother here without any supporting evidence. All of these are perfectly plausible in the absence of further evidence.

Well that can be so. I still don't like how the seme is acting all 'coz of his mission to that brother. The seme took it way to litterly 'coz all the brother said is to protect him from bad people until he turns 18. I don't see the point of him loosing his job. This is just my opinion though. It's the reason he gave Shiina that I dislike. He couldn't make a move at him, that's why he sleeps with different women every time (he's horny).
This shows more that he wants him in bed rather than loving him.

All of those are good reasons to dislike Shiina. Actually, I dislike him for those reasons, too. Especially promising he'd come home, then skipping. That's a pet peeve of mine. I also think Yuu getting Shiina fired crosses some lines right into creepy stalker, *regardless* of any promises...

I misunderstood, then. I see it a lot on this site where people call it cheating for one character to be sexually active while the other is in love with them, and it gets on my nerves every time. I thought that was what you were trying to say, and since I had a suggestion as to your other question I figured I'd voice that, too. Sorry.

You have very good English. Don't worry about it. When challenged, you calmly and politely worked with me to resolve the misunderstanding. That already shows much better manners than many people bother to have online, so I enjoy getting a chance to talk things out with you. Though we fundamentally seem to agree on things, we do have a slightly different perspective so it's enlightening to discuss it.

Indeed. It was rather frustrating to see so many people turn on one of a male couple when they haven't even confessed their feelings to each other or even started to think about dating, just because they had sex with someone else. Then turn on a female partner in a hetero relationship because she had sex (read raped in this one case I'm thinking about) while she was in a committed relationship yet going so far as to give a pass to the guy because he wasn't in a committed relationship, even though half of them would never have forgiven a girl even if she hadn't been in a committed relationship.

I'm afraid I don't quite get what you're saying there. The guy who raped the girl is forgiven because he's single while the girl is vilified even though she was raped? Hey, I have absolutely no problem with a rape kink or rape fantasy. Like you it is victim shaming I have a problem with. You'll see what I mean if you read some of my other posts on here. I can be quite harsh when it comes to that. Mostly because I've seen too much of it in my life, just through my friends and acquaintances mostly. Putting up with that kind of BS just got too tiring and didn't help anyone. And I discovered fictional accounts were also a hazard to them if left unaddressed.

I don't know if you'll share my opinion on this, as well, but you were correct when thinking I was mainly talking about one manga, specifically, in regards to the rape and cheating issues and that manga is Kirai, by Noriko Miura. You'll find some of my harsh comments, that I was talking about earlier, on some of the threads there.

Victim shaming, or slut shaming of any sort, is a scourge that needs to be cleansed from the earth. I don't usually bother to get into arguments about it, but a lot of that is just that I don't often read the comments on things here.

Kirai is actually pretty good. The ending may seem a little haphazard, however. Just to be safe and so you are forewarned, I think there is some victim shaming at the end of the story but not to the extent I found in the comments, so, yes, almost all, if not all, of it is in the comments.

your comment has really got me confused. I don't understand how you could read chapter 3 when it just updated. Not to mention all of the chapters are right, chapter 3 is not chapter 1. All I could think is you looked at the raw and think you actually read the chapter.

They fixed it already. Few hours ago (B4 I post this comment) chapter 3 was put as chapter 1 and no 'NEW' was marked while I get notification that there's an update.

I remembered reading chapter 3 translated long time ago already. Dunno if it was here or elsewhere.

Ah and another thing is that I always bookmark each chapter I read so far years ago in my Chrome browser folders. (I only start using an account this year. But I use mangago many years ago as anonymous user.)
I'm more used using my Chrome bookmarks than using my account bookmark. I'll be only using this bookmarks to mark all new updates for this day. Then delete them when done reading.
