...tbh I've only read a bit but... this could've been pretty nice if they didn't add so many dumb scenes. It's unfortunate but I'm a but disappointed in this. Like who would try to change the clothes of a captured prince as an emperor who knows this dude hates him?? Why wouldn't he just let him go call it a day and never see him again. Why would he kneel infront of a general as an emperor? Why would he have only one maidservant? Why would the previous emperor have no female concubines? Yes sure he's gay but they need an heir.
This could've been nice, very nice actually if they made it a bit more serious and a bit more realistic. But it is what it is.
