I had already read the raws so I knew it was coming, but reading it i with a more proper translation hits harder.
It’s f*cking triggering.
BTW, I noticed that everyone in ths8 series is handsome/cute, except for Jaeha. He’s not an attractive character- at all.
Has anyone notice that? His design has never been that attractive.
Even Wooyoung and the guild leader who’re side characters are drawn attractively, but not Jaeha.
I wonder if that has to do with his villain status?
I’m not a big fan of the sexual ambiguity and bi-erasure in most BLs, but I’m even less of a fan of characters pining for each other yet dating or marrying in order to not face those feelings, so—
I’m not getting any sexual tension from Eunsan at this moment, so I don’t think this is going to be one of those stories where his marriage had anything to do with unresolved feelings towards Ian (at least unresolved romantic ones). Hopefully his marriage and divorce is explained properly in a way that makes sense m. My only experience with this author is Unintentional love story, and the characters were fairly mature, I’m hong this one is mature as well.
As far as Ian acting like a horny teenager, I wonder if he’s a virgin?
Yes, the timeline is all over the place, there’s really no sense of time, but for whatever reason it is my current guilty pleasure.
SPOILERS:
Somehow it’s been 8 years since MC infiltrated, and judging from the latest chapters, ML is surprised to find out MC belongs to the cops, so his rat comment in chapter 9 was him thinking he infiltrated from another gang or what just a figure of speech, like when he called him a cat to explain the cut on his lip.
Baba and Taegun and Eunsung were so cute this chapter…

I admit I haven’t read chapter 13, but by reading all the comments about Guwon throwing up, I think it makes sense. If he’s as innocent and child-like as we’ve seen, then he might not take too kindly to being kissed. Remember, kids of a certain age think other kids are gross and have cooties. Guwon might have experienced the kiss like how a kid might experience something similar. When I was 7 I had to dance with a classmate for a Christmas special. I did not want to hold hands with this kid, I felt grossed out and hated Jingle Bell Rocks for a long time afterwards. That was my reaction to holding some kid’s hand. If Guwon doesn’t know or really understands adult intimacy, a kiss on the lips might be a bit too real.
Ok, that makes sense with the buildup. I was having trouble wrapping my head around how the author was going to write this child-like man to be a convincing top. Finding out he might just be one hell of an actor doesn’t make whatever comes next (in terms of their intimate relationship) so off-putting.
I like that the author doesn’t beat around the bush. Hyowon is a very straight forward character, I’m sure next chapter they’ll talk about this rumor and their feelings.
They bey her talk about feelings. Shinwoo is crying for f*cks sake!
Most stories wouldn’t have them meet in a few chapters just to prolong the drama.

Thinks Malcolm, then Andrew proceeds to show some yandere-ish behavior that makes him doubt.
Hopefully Andrew’s upbringing and how that affected his development is handled well. I mostly don’t care for the obsessive/jealous types, but in Andrew’s case he gets the benefit of the doubt due to his affection-less upbringing.
Someone else made a really good argument about why Andrew is the way he is and I tend to agree with their assessment. Hopefully his feelings for Luke help him develop in a healthy way and not convert him into an obsessive stalker.
