maybe ml had a character development arc off-screen bc the current him doesn't seem as obsessive possessive as his middle school self anymore but am i supposed to pretend the yandere part didn't happen?
bc isolating a lover from their friends, which ends up making them develop an insecurity about their personality and interests is a 'might become abusive in the future' alert irl... besides, the story was doing well upto that part so i don't get why the author added that in, especially when they brushed it off as mc being fine with it in the end ┑(￣Д ￣)┍
